UNIFIL today handed over to the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) a cleared minefield during a ceremony held near the Blue Line in Blida, southeastern Lebanon.
UNIFIL peacekeepers have recently intensified night patrols along the Blue Line, in coordination with the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF), building on the relative calm prevailing in the area.
